As a life long Batman fan (40+ years at this point), is this book for me? I feel I pretty much know most of what there is to know about the history of the character and am not sure this book will add anything I don't know. Also a little concerned about the condescending attitude that reviewers say the author gives towards Batman fans that like "versions" of Batman other than the ones he champions. Thoughts?

In my opinion if you get the audiobook (read by the author) then it's worth it for the accents alone!(less)
