Very entertainin…moreIt's been a while that I read the book and watched the movie (the longer TV version) but from what I remember the movie was quite OK. Very entertaining but there are some differences to the novel.
So I would say that the adaption could be a bit more faithful and compressed the plot (which was to be expected given the length of the novel) and therefore isn't perfect but half as good? Yes! ;-)(less)
