Had anyone else have an issue following this book? I'm close to quitting very early in because I'm not fully grasping the writing.

I suspect this book will stay with me for a long time, but I struggled to get through the whole thing. Unbelievable writing, but seemed to go no where and get nowhere until you are done and it continues to haunt you for days. Am going to search out a professional review, but it did win a book award?
