Does any one but me think that Val has been playing match maker to the Maiden Lane folks in the last two books?
Keri He is up to something that is for sure. I am still having a hard time seeing him as a hero or even an anti-hero.

I have not read any of this series except Sweetest Scoundrel. Although I could tell there were obviously other stories leading up to it, I was not lost. However, it seems Val's book my require reading the whole series first. Will that be necessary or is it self explanatory?
Caroline This can be read as a stand alone book and is wonderful as such. There is beauty in this book, even the horrible parts are beautiful.

Bridget Crumbs, the formidable housekeeper from Megs and Godric's book "Lord of Darkness" is getting a story. Will Sarah St. John be getting one, too? I have read in one of Hoyt's posts that she initially wanted to write about each of Godric's sisters. I really, really, really, really hope that she does that. Every book in Maiden Lane series has been worth reading. I really hope all of Godric's sisters get a book

Meg Housekeepers often (apparently) took Mrs as their title, as it supposedly gave them more authority and the appearance of more experience.
