Beau said he would possibly get to it one day, but that it wasn't a high priority. I can't find that entry in the e-reader version I have. And it might have been about another of L'Amour's books. :-(

This e-reader version does have a "missing excerpt" from the original novel, but I have yet to read it. Just found it!(less)

It's 30 guys, then 6, but the suffering, the traveling, and the indomitable spirit is there in spades. There's a whole library of polar explorations going back 4-500 years. They're all worth a read. Chuck Nope. It was his 2nd to last novel. Perhaps he had a sequel in his head but if so, he took it to the grave.
