Metaxas seems more interested in (mis)appropriating Bonhoeffer's life and writing for his own political purposes.

Read Bethge twice before reading Metaxas once. :-)(less)

Given that George Marsh in his biography of Bonhoeffer described Bethge as the object of B's affections (although unrealized as a died a celibate) I wonder how this book will read knowing the author was a person who B' loved the most?
