Ok what is the difference between the "Battleground of the Damned", "The Lands of Despair" and "The Labyrinth of Yggr"? How are they related and connected? It is hard to tell in the book if one is inside of another or what the barriers are between them and what needs to be done to get between them.

The Labyrinth of Yggr is an artificial construct, and it's outer structure exists on the surface of Taereun. Both the Battleground and the Lands of Despair are collections pocket dimensions that exist within the Labyrinth. Including the Battleground and Lands of Despair, there actually are a total of eight regions like the Battleground. Each region being made of interconnected pocket dimensions ranging from a few square kilometers to small universes. The Battleground and the other regions are mostly isolated from each other, though each is connected to one or more other regions though gates like the one where the Damned first woke up after The Nameless mind/soul-napped them.

There are also teleport arrays, mostly under DokkAlfar control, that allow travel between the regions. The Tren'fon Array that was mentioned at the end of Ultimatum is one of those.(less)
