Why is it that US covers usually suck compared to the UK covers? E.g. - the book in question.

Naomi I completely agree. I mean look at the UK cover of Strange the Dreamer compared to the US one. The UK one is 10x more gorgeous!

There's really no foul language and no sex. There is one or two minor kiss. The book does suggest that a couple spent the night together but nothing is actually described; it's more hinted at. There is lots of violence and death. Including people getting sliced open and the guts coming out. Or death by dragon fire. I would say it's very similar to what you see in Pirates of the Caribbean except it's with dragons. The book does use the word "whore" but it's not a swear word. (less)
