What…moreWell, it's quite obscure to me, this scene with the cactus but the cigar box also is missing and i don't recall any mention to the hidden notes.. What i would guess is that the cactus was the only sentimental possesssion of the character, his room really poor, his stuff numbered. So whoever went through his stuff, that's the only personal thing that could be removed or destroyed. I don't see why eva would be involved in this...(less)
