I'm startled and bummed that 99% of y'all are women! I never would've thought that Ms. Tippett catered only to women, esp. on a topic about wisdom. Any thoughts on that? I plan to read the book, regardless. I'm desperate for wisdom books in our extraordinary perilous times when religions preach we are in the Last Days and scientists envision scarcer and scarcer natural resources for burgeoning populations.

More precisely, most of the reviewers of this beautiful book are women due to the fact that men do not often read books by women (especially books by women writers that are branded as "self-help," a categorization for this book that I find paltry and lacking).(less)

I get the impression that, for Krista Tippett, love is the reality behind the reality, viz., although throughout history, like the dinosaurs before us, we're eating other species, and that there is some kind of love in that? To be sure, it's a deep question. The book seems to reveal that love is a learned thing. So...trying to reconcile it all is daunting. Any thoughts on that? Thanks again.
