sofia damer-salas essentially, a girl who lives with her wacky aunt jo who is always throwing parties at their house. at one of the parties, a few of the guests are act…moreessentially, a girl who lives with her wacky aunt jo who is always throwing parties at their house. at one of the parties, a few of the guests are acting strange and something very mysterious falls from the sky. this starts a whole journey with these super odd and unique personalities and her aunt jo, that help her realize who she is and her past. if you've read harry potter, this book is like it in that it goes into so much detail describing every single thing about eldritch city and how wildly different it is from our normal. that was what i loved most about it. there is nothing cliché about this book because nobody has ever thought up the same characters or concepts before.(less)
