Any idea what a '"branegel" is? I have a feeling it's some kind of portmanteau word that will seem obvious when explained, but it's driving me nuts!

From reading the book, I imagine these are some kinda fancy "bubbles" that can be projected to, so sort of like a thin and disposable membrane, possibly made out of a gel, used for projection.(less)

Looks like my question has been answered already. So this is in the same world as Thirteen? I'm only a couple chapters in and haven't seen anything that ties it to that book yet. Does the relation come later in the book?
