Newport Cove sounds like a New England town, yet callers for Susan's radio program are from NC cities (Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh). I know the town is fictitious, but is it supposed to be situated in NC?

I don't know how others felt about this book but I just could not get interested in it. I read a little over a quarter of it and did what I rarely do...gave up. Too many books on my TBR list waiting for me. We're there others out there who gave up on this one?

Miss Maureen I almost dnf, but persevered. It ended up being ok. The best part was the last 2 hours.
