Does anyone know how many books this series will be?

Kyle Davis From Terry's blog when mentioning book 11 he says: "Thaumaturge has to set up the arc for the next ten books", so it sounds like 20+ books!

Any ETA on the 8th book? Because i just finished the 7th and am somewhat ticked that i couldn't find out what happens with the story line because i kinda took 2 week break from life reading these books lol so finding it hasn't got a release date yet is driving me bonkers.
