Sadly she…moreHi Susan - you and many other readers have asked this question. And my Nan has been thrilled to the response to the story of her early life. Sadly she passed away on 26th October (2016) aged 96, but it was peaceful and her family were around her to say goodbye. Her notes as to what happened next in her career were, as you would expect, incomplete. She did, however, leave me her original love letters from her courting days with Alistair and had begun to tell me many stories of her later nursing life.
