There's a cover shoot with models that has to be approved, back cover copy to be written.
The publisher arranges sales with the outlets - online and in brick&mortar stores. Publicity is done. It all takes time.
And honestly, it takes me a little while to write the books. I wish I could write as fast as readers read! lol.
I'm sorry for the wait, but the general rule for traditional publishers is that it takes 9 months after I turn in a book to have it ready to be on the shelf.
And that's if it fits with the schedule. My publisher wouldn't want to publish every author's book in the same month. So they do some juggling too.
In the end, I hope you find it worth the wait!

This one in particular is a much awaited book by fans who fell in love with Armie in the previous books and the series that this one spun off of.(less)

If it's not written yet or ready for review then it's just people doing it for some say to mark it for later reading although rating it isn't necessary to mark it. If it's a fully written review then it's people who review books writing them who have received a ARC from the publisher. Hope that helps.(less)
