We don't know where it says this book is a short story because it's decidedly not. :-) When Victoria Green and I started writing this series, our plan was to write novella-length books...but you know what they say about the best laid plans, right? Despite our intentions to keep it short, each story took on a life of its own and they ended up being novel length instead.

Each book in the series is a complete story--with a beginning, middle, and an end--and leads right into the next book. They are structured like episodes of your favorite TV drama show, telling a complete part of a much larger, epic story.
