Fight Club 2 is somewhat standalone, but its foundations are (at least initially) linked to the novel. The novel is a quick read, maybe a couple days (and I'm a slow reader!) so it's worth reading through. Besides, the novel is actually really good and I'd recommend reading it anyway!(less)
