This is not typical of the whole series. This is the strange and ugly beginnings where the author was all over the place exploring and at some point the Serge Storm series finally takes form and gets good. This is my least favorite book by one of my favorite authors - I actually don't like this book, and do not recommend reading it. I've read 15 books in this series, starting with Hurricane Punch (2007) and after, and liked them all very much. I did not like this one. (less)

He hasn't introduced a character that is unlikeable yet...at least to me LOL (less)
