Stephen King writes two thousand words a day, which means he could have written a first draft for this book in about two months. Plus, the writing style seems too consistent and singular for a ghost writer to be responsible for this. Stephen King has been writing since he was kid and genuinely loves the craft, so it doesn't seem like he would employ a ghost writer. Also, he has talked about the process of writing this series in a way that suggests he definitely wrote this himself. Probably he's just written a lot of books and so has a few below average ones.(less)
