Hi Donna,
Reading now and the reportage and point of view are spot on. Although I missed Lord Bird, The Color of Water is a ground breaking personal account for both Black and White Audiences. Kill 'EM and Leave is equally impressive as a biography and even more so for shining a light on race relations from a Black Man's point of view. Should be required reading for all, (presidential candidates included), who are concerned for the state of race relations in our country. McBride gives voice for those who cannot be heard. Put Kill 'EM on your list. Oak out!(less)
