Long answer: His redemption arc is already set up in TFA and the next movie looks to only be expanding on that. Making him eeevil for all time would be terrible storytelling. He'll be Ben Solo again by the end, and if that makes the fanboys uncomfortable, no one said they had to watch/read.(less)

What do people think about this? I am going to read the book, first...before seeing the movie. I have never done this with the Star Wars franchise, but I am for this one. Why, some have asked...because the Canon is set, so what is in the book is Canon...and there will be more in the book than in the movie (obviously). So, I want it all.
