Do I think a young adult could read and appreciate this book, I say yes, a mature young adult could. Of course, maturity is a personal decision which I can't answer or quantify. (less)

Is this book as poorly written as it initially appears? I HATED this book initially as the writing and use of language seemed juvenile and amateurish. I was really unsure whether the author was writing like this on purpose, or was really THAT terrible. I'm at the end of "Book 2" and it becomes clear the author knows exactly what they're doing. Anyone tempted to quit the book like I was, please keep reading!

I li…moreI would've assumed it was a riddle and the wording was, "Is a tree read?" In which case the answer would be yes since it becomes paper and books. I like her answer better because it summarizes the human condition so well, in that none of us is truly capable of seeing the same thing. (less)
