At least, I wouldn't classify it as YA. The narrative tone sounds adult to me and, while there are some flashbacks to teenage memories, nearly the entire cast of characters are adults. Older teens who are avid readers would probably enjoy it, but I think it's intended primarily for an older readership and I'm glad I found this book in my twenties. :)(less)
