Although Each is about a new person or couple, some events that happen are explained by the previous book. In the first book ( Royal Date) it was about Kat and Nico. The second book (royal chase) was about Dante (Nico's brother) and Lemon (Kat's best friend). Kat and Dante met in the first book and the show "Marry Me" was introduced in the first book but carries on into the second one ( plus the character are the same). The third book (Royal games) was about Rafe ( Nico and Dante's brother) and Genesis ( a contestant on the show Marry Me). That things that happened in Royal Chase were the reason some events happened in Royal games. If that makes sense. I hope this helps(less)
