Does this book "cast of characters" include characters only found in the first 4 novels as well as those found in the last 4 - or only characters that are mentioned in the last 4 novels? My mom needs a reminder of a "who's who" as she reads the series, but not necessarily the summaries. She's on book 2 right now. If I can get by with buying only one of the companions as opposed to both, I'd prefer it.

Is the book worth owning?

Mary Lou Never bought Vol 1 but I did purchase Vol 2 of The Outlandish Companion. AND - No... unfortunately you DO NOT want to purchase that book because there…moreNever bought Vol 1 but I did purchase Vol 2 of The Outlandish Companion. AND - No... unfortunately you DO NOT want to purchase that book because there's a lot of cut & pasting from the book series. There's some value but not enough for a purchase. I do recommend buying the Outlander book series (1-8 fans still waiting on Vol. 9) as they are fabulous and worth reviewing over & over. (less)
