I would think if th…moreWhile it's a memoir and he's gay, there's not graphic sex memories to deal with primarily because he wasn't a terribly sexual guy. I would think if the topic of a doctor (who is also a writer) would interest particular high school students, they could read it. There's a lot of interesting science in it. I can't see assigning it to a class to read.
