Am I the only one desperately trying to STOP reading this series yet continuing the torture, book after book after book? I almost gave up after about 18...yet here I am, pre-ordering my copy of 22. I need help. And Janet Evanovich is not the cure anymore.

There's literally nothing new happening in this story and it's kind of bullshit. After 22 books, I say get Morelli a new girlfriend and get her pregnant. Something. Anything. Anything to actually advance the story. Even Lula has gotten on my nerves, there's nothing new with Grandma. I think Ranger is the only one who doesn't annoy the crap out of me at the moment.
I also think Janet isn't writing these books anymore. The pacing, dialog, and feeling are all off.(less)

Am I the only one that's found herself thinking "What are you doing, Steph. This is like book 5 sh*t." During the last few books? And I totally would have called one of my friends on her Morelli/Ranger indecision if it had been the what 5/6 years book time?

This series is out of control but I feel I've gone this far I might as well finish. It will be sad when she finally chooses Morelli over Ranger and turns in her cuffs for baking pans and yelling matches. Ranger=acceptance. Am I the only one?

I too would like Stephanie to make a decision between Joe and Ranger; although I would love for her to end up with Joe. Maybe Janet could develop Stephanie's character to end up married with children. Janet could show how that lifestyle changes Stephanie. So, I need to see more from Stephanie Plum as well. If nothing changes, do I continue to read this series?
