It's a 'Novelization', and as such it's a pretty faithful adaptation of the 1995 'Jumanji' film. While it adds a little extra context and information, it doesn't add much. Nonetheless, it was an easy and pleasant read. This edition includes 14 stills from the movie, but nothing that wasn't in the film (As in they are literally stills from the movie, not behind-the-scenes photography).

Overall, the book was fine, but the movie was better and this doesn't really add much to the experience.(less)
