I have an 11 year old who wants to read this...he loves history and is a mature reader but I don't want him reading any thing too horrible and graphic. He watched the Hunger Games and that's about the level of violence/gore that I think is ok. I don't want him exposed to anything too twisted. Can I get a sense of where this falls on the twisted/super disturbing scale?
