I used Judy Lewis UNCOMMON KNOWLEDGE as a source, with Loretta Young's own authorized autobiography FOREVER YOUNG as a source. I wrote a novel of historical fiction. I relied on Judy's conversations with her mother and Loretta's own words- which make no mention of a rape- these are allegations made last year, after my book was written and being printed; and after the death of Judy Lewis.
