I found myself toggling to Google Maps and mapping her route from one destination to the next, viewing distances, routes, cities, and buildings. What I wished I had was her exact location in each destination. Would Ms. Park consider providing the exact coordinates of the destinations in her journey wherever she might be able to identify them? It would make a fascinating map to zoom down into and explore.

Hope no one is offended I ask but feel I must before I feel safe purchasing to read or listen to. The description alludes to human trafficking and slavery. I am not opposed to reading about some violence or human suffering but I am very much not comfortable with graphic descriptions of abuse of a sexual nature. Are there these types of discussions in the book?

Avoiding this book because one seeks to avoid the mere mention of such things—let alone the recognizance that these things can actually happen to oneself—would kind of be missing the point entirely.

Personally, I'd say that if you don't want to read this book because you're not in the mood or interested in it, that's perfectly fine. But if you're avoiding a book you are actually curious about simply because it may make you uncomfortable, that would certainly be all the more reason to read it.
