First, I haven't read the book. After buying it, I read that this was not historically accurate, that it was a book about white superiority, and claimed that the history of Irish slaves was longer and worse than black slavery. Is this book about white superiority and racism? Is this a Donald Trump supporter's hate handbook? If it is, I'm returning it to Amazon.

It is my understanding that NZ & Australia were prison nations for the English. Does the author give explanation as to who was sent to the American as slaves and those sent to NZ/OZ as prisoners if everyone that was captured were prisoners in general? In other words who got" lucky" enough to just take the trip across the pond to the Americans and who got sent All the way to this side of world and how were they chosen?

However both Black and Indigenous folks owned a small portion of those enslaved.

Now I read a review by someone that said the book is written a novel style, which leads me to ask if this is a History or a novel. I guess seeing the foot notes, citations and bibliography would be required to see where it stands. Can someone tell me if the physical book has a section of citation?
