Very very good writer, the material is packed with strange nuances that render a surreal and bizarre world poised somewhere between reality and death....ultimately a very dark tale of survival in the ghetto...loved the book?

Ada Pieńkowska The book was published in 1933, far before any Jew in Poland was taken to the ghetto.

Not a question, but for those wanting more of Schulz, look for a Polish film, THE HOURGLASS SANITARIUM, which adapts several of his stories... you'll have to dig deeper than Netflix, but it's worth the search. Good?
