Mercedes had plans for 6 books(which would have been awesome) but Disney/Hyperion said no. Because they are the publishers, Mercedes cant make more. Related to this: there was some pricing issues with Amazon in the UK charging near £89, which has caused the book to be unavailable there for preordering until it's fixed, and Waterstones wasn't listing the book for whatever reason but I believe it is now available. Waterstones now lists the book for preeorder at £12.99 with a prospective release date in the UK of October 15, 2015. This was discussed on Lackey's Facebook page and other sites.

Of course, everything could change. This is what I've found out.(less)

The summary makes me think the setting is like Attack on Titan. Can someone who has read both tell me if they are similar, at least in premise?

Setting-wise in a way. But everything else is different. It's a good read. Must read. :) Hope that helped.(less)
