I am currently on page 337 and honestly, I've had a very difficult time getting into this one. It feels like it's all been "set up" and it's all been bad...just 337 pages of struggle. I hate to throw it aside now but 'm not sure I can keep "slogging" through it. Does ANYTHING good happen in these stories? And does either Clares' or Isobels' story leave off with a good or hopeful ending?
