Does anybody know where the author Jeff Long has gone to?I have asked the publishers of some of his books and I never got a reply back. He such a great writer I think and the rest book I read of his was Deeper, which I really enjoyed.

There’s a line in the book in which a character says “an Argentine poet once told of two gauchos who entered a deadly knife fight because the knife itself compelled them”. I assume the Argentine poet is Borges, but does anybody know the name of the story?
