Em It is based on a true story. The characters are fictional but what they go through is very historically accurate.

Unanswered Questions (1)

In one chapter a character asks Wade if he has a radio in his shack or access to a radio, Just out of curiosity, where would they get power to play the radio? I’m assuming the shacks didn’t have electricity since they were not official housing. Also assuming that if the radio was in an official housing building it would need to be well hidden, which would also make access to wall plug difficult.
