Is Fluerette supposed to be developmentally delayed, or just really sheltered? She's somewhere between 17 and 19 by the math of the book, but between temper tantrums, putting on a show in the living room, and the way she talks, she comes off as a literal child.

It's clean, and thrilling, and I think the strength and independence of the women in it, and their motivations being based on their values and morals rather than romantic aspirations, makes them positive role-models.
