I've never read a book written in free verse, does it make the book harder to read?

After reading One I can't imagine it being written any other way. Definitely not harder to read, if anything makes the book more fluid to read.(less)

What age would you suggest for this book? I bought it for our school library for the 10 and 11 year olds but now i'm wondering if they are too young to deal with the emotion and the sadness, as well as a bit of bad language.

Lasar No, this is like any other story. It just uses free verse, which means its structure looks like a poem, but nothing rhymes.

Did anyone else have a hard time reading the kindle version of this book? Some lines had one word and it was formatted terrible. I ended up returning it without reading it. Is this intentional or an e-book error
