Todd Glaeser Perhaps. A major plot point of the first novel will be spoiled for you by the events in the second.

Loved the first book and am half way through this one "Effect'. The second one is really not as funny but it's still amusing and I really like the characters. I think some of it's power is that it takes itself more seriously because of the problems Don has because of his Aspergers--but do you think this changes the tone of the book enough that people won't like it? Hum-m-m-m-m- don't know.

I very much enjoyed it, but some of the situations Simsion puts his characters in seem a bit farfetched to me, but perhaps not by romantic comedy movie standards.(less)
