Just finished this book and found it interesting that it includes one actual use of the S-word, and one implied use of the F-word--but the latter is blocked out and replaced with a line. The book was commissioned by the Estate of Ian Fleming, so it made me curious: do they impose a ban on the use of the F-word in all the continuation Bond novels?

The regressive language and sexism/racism, for example - when viewed from C21st sensibilities - is part of the period detail and writing style so I'm happy to read and enjoy this as a faithful Fleming homage.(less)

Is Trigger Mortis suitable for children around age 10? I'm wondering if there's anything detailed between Bond and Pussy Galore!
Martin There are some realistic and gruesome scenes of war, which I would think would be too much for your average ten-year old.
