I watched the movie in hopes of finding a gem since it's penned by the authors of one of my most favorite books ever. The Nick and Nora movie is just as delightful as the novel itself and did not disappoint. Naomi and Ely was a humongous disappointment. My question is that, how is the book? Was the movie just an exceptionally bad adaptation or is the book just as horrendous? I'm conflicted with all the varied reviews.

Léna Carla I thought the movie was a bad adaptation honestly. The story is less centred on Naomi in the book and the ending is different and more logical.
