Ms Cluess, I am officially in love! I just finished reading A Shadow Bright and Burning and it's definitely one of my favorites. I know it's impolite to ask, but do you have any idea as to when the next part will be coming out? And will there be new Characters? :)

Our plan right now is to have the next book come out fall 2017. We're shooting for September right now, but you can never totally commit to these things until you know for certain. However, we definitely want the series to be one year between books.

As for new characters, there are a couple of new faces that show up. I can't wait for readers to meet them. :)(less)

I´d say any book marketed to young adults is fine with a 13 year old. In my +40 years of reading i dont think ive read one book that was towards that market that was unappropriate for the age it was aiming for. however some writers treat the subject clumsily and some choose serious topics as rape etc. I feel this book could easily be read in front of a class o 13-year olds when it comes to the level of "romance".(less)

There is just one instance that gets settled quickly but doesnt really unpack the situation and explain how negative the repercussions can be. While I dont think that this book is very dirty that is something that concerns me. Other than that incident the book is relatively innocent with just some brief kisses (maybe one or two). Some books I would recommend are the 1- selection series (they discuss sex but not it detail more like mention the topic but that's it) 2- the hunger game 3- the false prince series.
