Though I read this book over a year ago, I distinctively remember several instances of the word "f**k" being used, and more mild profanity such as "damn it" and "bastard." As for sexual content there is a LOT in it. Not told in graphic description, but describes a woman's promiscuity, being sexually abused at a young age, and extramarital love affairs. I would not recommend this book for those under 14 years of age. (less)

This book was a real page-turner with it's mixture of horror, tragedy, mental illness and the riveting details of the work. One of the top true crime books ever. Has anyone seen the made for TV movie with Farrah Fawcet?
