This book indicates that it is an autobiography. I can't find anywhere where Newton wrote an autobiography. (book) - only a pamphlet on Slave Trace conditions. Can you explain it?

It was a series of letters written to one man for the purpose of relaying his life story, knowing that it would get distributed, but not intending it to be fully published. Newton wrote it earlier in life -- prior to going into ministry. It is included in The Works of John Newton, vol. 1. It looks like this book is a repackaging of that original autobiography.(less)
