No it's not a little strange. It's not strange at all. The fact that you find it strange is what's strange to me.

Titles are not held to copyright laws. There are countless books with the same titles. It happens. It's common and expected. I have 4 books on in my library with the same titles, all by different authors and even crossing genres. It happens.

Do you expect no other book to ever be titled "The Fixer" because what, one that won the Pulitzer-prize used it? Do you expect a title to be only used once and only once ever?

Besides there are many "The Fixer" novels and books out there --
The Fixer (Games People Play #1) - HelenKay Dimon
The Fixer - Joseph Finder
The Fixer (Lawson the Fixer #1) - Jon F. Merz
The Fixer - Joe Sacco
The Fixer (Mort Grant, #1) - T.E. Woods
The Fixer - Max Kinnings
The Fixer (JC Bannister, #1.1) - Rex Carpenter
The Fixer - Steve Bunce
The Fixer - John Henderson
The Fixer - D.A. Latham
Fixer - Samantha Westlake
Fixer (The Ustari Cycle, #0.5) - Jeff Somers
etc.

As you can see, it's used by many other books with no issue or cause for concern. There's even more using "The Fix" as well.

There is one part where the main character talks about castrating a bull and there are some murders/ deaths but they aren't described in detail. It gets a little intense, but I'd say it's pretty clean.
Oh, I forgot to mention, there are some "pictures" mentioned, but they aren't described and don't play a huge role in the book.(less)
