I love Cocks and Morgan, but was anyone else confused by some odd Americanisms in The Royal We? Like why did Westminster Abbey become Catholic, and why on earth would Prince Nicholas' birthday party feature an ice sculpture?

The old Catholic liturgy was reappropriated via Thomas Cranmer for Henry VIII and the church, especially the old "high church" cathedrals, still follow those old liturgical forms. So the authors did the research, it's accurate, and you should probably do a spot of your own research next time!
