I'm reading the reviews and at least some agree with the assessment that Piers and his "roommate" are gay, though it is never stated. Here is my question: do you think Wilmet ever knows? And by "knows" I mean consciously-knows. If not, do you think she knows on some level?

Carole Watson-Stover I don’t think she does and that is interesting because I think everyone else does.
