This book had a lot of derogatory language, mostly aimef at the LGBTQ community. (I realize that I made it sound like The the author was using these words to describe people. That is not The case. Only characters portrayed in a negative light use them). The main character experiences assault from said negative characters. There is talk of suicide, because the main character has attempted it in the past, and the love interest's sister commuted suicide. I think it really depends on the person who is going to read this book to decide based on these trigger warnings. (less)
